I’m A Bullet-Proof Tiger, Dude!

Airik Elstracular Spectacular from North of Ten on Vimeo.

Two videos that you need to watch. The first one has a terrible intro, but the kids riding is so original and good that it seriously will blow your mind. The second one is the metal trip from props 70. Watch it for the first clip if you don’t have time for an eight minute edit. Other than that my birthday was succesfull. Lone Star, Molsen Canadian, Guinness, Fat tire, Murphy’s Red, and Old Speckled Hen were all there to help celebrate.

In other news Timmy’s web vid is being pushed back until next month because of Vinyl’s scheduling and i’m going to start filming.

Ride your bikes,

Collin

Martinez Vid!

Corey Martinez: One Week in Chicago from Vinylbmx on Vimeo.

Corey Martinez was in Chicago for a week and Andy was fortunate enough to hang out, ride, and film with him for a week. This video is the aftermath. Corey has been one of my favorite riders for years and its cool to see him shredding spots that some of us have ridden before. It’s edited by Brady and hosted by Vinyl, which you should check out at www.vinylbmx.com . In the mean time you should all be contemplating what you’re getting me for my birthday on Monday, it’s my 21st so i will accept any beer accept bud light lime, or miller chill. I’ll puke on a baby before i drink that.

Ride bikes and have fun,

Collin

Happy 4th of July!

I was talking with one of my buddies the other day about all the injuries/crashes that i have had over the years and i realized a few of them were still on youtube. So I looked them up and sure enough they’re still up. The first one is kind of messed up because I ended up tearing the ligaments that hold my collarbone in place. We though my shoulder just got dislocated so we tried to put it back in place ( as you can see in the vid) but it ended up much worse. The second video is me at Munster, no injury at all but its just funny because it looks worse than my recent accident where i messed up my knee.

Hopefully Drew and I will get some filming done Sunday for a short video that i want to do for the site. If you want to get some clips and be famous on crossroads bmx let me know. We’ll probably be at Munster or Lansing. Also my friend Shaun could possibly taking photos for the site, so maybe photo updates of shredding and beer drinking in the future! Have a good Fourth everybody. Drink beer and blow shit up, it’s what our founding fathers would have wanted.

Comedy Thursday

Nothing to do with bmx, but funny as shit.

Not at the table Carlos

Woodward from Anthony Watkinson on Vimeo.

Spotted this on thecomeup, Anthony Watkinson is a beast. Plus you get a glimpse of Woodward’s street course, which made a little bit of blood rush to my penis.

In other news, Timmy has officially finished filming for his web video according to Andy. We all know Timmy, and if anyone deserves a whole web video it is him. The kid kills it. This should be coming out through Vinyl by the end of the week as soon as Brady gets the ball rolling. It will also be posted on here too.

It has also come to my attention that a new indoor park has opened in St. Charles, called The Circus. I have no idea if this is old news or not but the park looks amazing. It has a nice rhythm, mini, street course, and a foam pit for all you circus trick enthusiasts. It costs 12 bucks to get in, so maybe wait till winter sets in and you absolutely have to pay to ride somewhere. Check out their myspace http://www.myspace.com/circusskatepark

I also got cut off today while driving by a large African-American lady, and after I honked my horn she called me a honky. When will the oppression end?

Later,

Collin

Dew Tour

The dew tour was amazing. Andy was fortunate enough to get me a media pass for Friday’s events and I posed as a person who worked for DIG BMXMAG which was able to get me and his dad down onto the park course. Some of the highlights were a frontflip superman ( yeah you heard right) meeting Kurt Hohberger from thecome up. seeing Steven Murray, meeting the man, the myth, the complete badass Van Homan, meeting Darryl Tocco from kink for a brief second, and over all watching some insane street riding from Aaron Ross, Sean Sexton, Garret Reynolds, Danny Hickerson, Chase Dehart, Randy Brown, Van Homan, Dennis Enarson, and J.J. Palmere. Overall an enjoyable day even though I’m sunburned as shit.

The Crash

Untitled from Andrew Brady on Vimeo.

Here it is. I know people have been wanting to see this for a while. It doesn’t look all that bad, but considering what happened I guess looks are deceiving. Thing are healing up just like they should. I’ve been out of my cast for three and half weeks now and I’m starting to walk around with very little help from my crutches.

Things are definitely slow with news and updates. Brady has been busy doing other projects and I have no idea what other people are up too since I’m kind of out of the loop now. Crossroads might be put on hiatus for a while, it’s really up in the air. I’m thinking about turning the site into a Yugoslavian mail order bride shop  or  a dating site for midgets called  ”Mini-Meets”.

Go out and ride your bikes assholes,

Collin

Timmy

Blowin up!

Timmy has been killing it lately! He’ll have a web edit up on the internet within the next month from all the shredding he’s been doing lately. In the meantime, check out Corey Martinez’s Flickr for some awesome shots of Timmy from the session we had yesterday.
